Sylvia joined the practice in 2008 and has over 40 years experience as a registered Optometrist. She has served as chairman , secretary and treasurer of the North East Optical Society.
She has a special interest in Low Vision, and worked part time at Gateshead integrated Low Vision Service ( now known as Vision and hearing Support) for 18 years, until the demands of running the practice meant she had to give it up in 2022.
